(5)The Inivisware® radius ferrule is designed to be hidden within the end post. Only the head will be exposed outside of the post. The head area is a dom-shaped end that is larger than the body of the ferrule and acts as a shoulder to support tension of the cable. The redius ferrule is swaged onto the end of the cable. It is not an adjuster. An Invisiware® reciver or Adjust-A-Jaw Tensioner should be used on the other end for adjustment. Pipe end posts are counterbored to reeive the head and to minimize its exposure on the outside of the post. On flat-sided end posts, the head rests flush against the surface of the post. We include a plastic washer to act as a scratch resistant barrier between the head of the radius ferrule and the surface of the post. Note This part is designed for use on pipe and square tube railng only. It should not be specificied for 3"" x 1"" and 2"" x 1"" double end post construction railings./Asset/radius-ferrule.jpg
(5)The Fixed Jaw is designed similar in appearance to the Adjust-A-Jaw® tensioner, while being less expensive than an Adjust-A-Jaw. The Fixed Jaw does not allow for any adjustment. The Fixed Jaw should be used on one end, and an Adjust-A-Jaw on the other end of a cable. This fitting is especially suited to uses on stair pitches, as it will automatically assume the correct pitch of the stair when the cable is tensioned. The Fixed Jaw is the shortest and most streamlined clevis fitting that is available for its stated cable size. While it is ideally suited for stair pitches, it also is a very attractive fitting to use if you want the ”hightech” look of exposed stainless steel hardware on level runs as well as on stair pitches. The Fixed Jaw is held onto the cable by our swaging ferrule. The swaging ferrule fits into the counterbore of the Fixed Jaw after the swaging ferrule is attached./Asset/ultra-tec-fixed-jaw.JPG
(2)Same as our regular Fixed Jaw, except the cable attaches to the Fixed Jaw with a special clip, which is installed by hand. All hardware is swaged on the cable at the factory, so there is no field swaging necessary. Use on the opposite end of an Invisiware® receiver or Adjust-A-Jaw® tensioner. Order using part numbers below and check with factory to determine cable lengths to be provided with swaged fittings. Available for 1/8"" and 3/16"" cable only./Asset/ultra-tec-fixed-jaw-2.JPG
